ABOUT MR. HOPKINS: I have been teaching high school social studies for 30 years. I currently teach at the Singapore American School, where I have spent 21 of those 30 years. At SAS I teach AP Economics, AT Economics (Globalization), Behavioral Economics/Game Theory, Introduction to Economics and Personal Finance. ABOUT THIS COURSE: Introduction to Economics is a course in microeconomics and macroeconomics for students grades 10-12 at SAS. The course will cover basic economic concepts and delve into topics related to globalization such as international trade and economic development. 

August 11: We will get to know each other and then watch this tutorial on hypothes.is. We will be using this tool to annotate readings as a class all semester.
