Using the models of economic growth and development that we have studied, explain a development problem associated with one country in Southeast Asia and propose a solution to it.
Section 1 (Problem Analysis): Identify and explain the problem using at least one of the economic models you have learned. Support your analysis using graphs, quotes from authorities (academic economists), and statistical data.
Section 2 (Solution Analysis): Identify and explain a policy remedy to the problem identified in Section 1, using at least one of the economic models you have learned. Support your analysis using graphs, quotes from authorities (academic economists), and statistical data.
Section 3 (Evaluation): Evaluate the policy remedy that you identified in Section 2. You should present an opposing viewpoint in this section. The following are some other questions you might address in this section.What would be the advantages and disadvantages of the policy? What would be its effect on economic stakeholders? How might the policy's short-run effects differ from its long-run effects, if at all? Support your analysis using graphs, quotes from authorities (academic economists), and statistical data.
