INTRODUCTION
On the first summative assessment (test) you will have to respond to two of the prompts below. You will not be free to choose any of the questions below. I will determine the questions. Your responses should be one paragraph. You will have 15 minutes to write each paragraph. Use everything you've learned so far about paragraph writing to make your paragraphs well organized and informative.
This will be an open notebook test. You will write your answers with a pen or pencil on paper but will be allowed to use your computer with the internet turned off. Although you may use notes and outlines, you will not be permitted to write the paragraphs at home and then just copy them word for word on the test. The outlines must be in Roman numeral format. If you use the Cornoutlines you have prepared for class, the paragraph at the end must be deleted.
I will be available Thursday and Friday after school to help anyone who wants or needs it.
