Daily Issue: Is it important to engage in research-based projects? 

Agenda: 

• • Daily Issue (5 mins) 

  • Assignment to be turned in at the end of class 

    • Separate piece of paper: (put your name on it)

    • PART 1: Write out a full paragraph that supports your answer to the daily issue question.  (8 sentences // you have 15 mins)

    • PART 2: Write down you #1, #2 and #3 morals after the paragraph. 

    • PART 3: Switch pieces of paper with someone on the other side of the classroom. 

    • PART 4: Put your name on that 2nd piece of paper. 

    • PART 5: Read the intro paragraph.  Choose one of the 3 morals written down.  Write 1 body paragraph (8 sentences) that supports the other person's argument based on 1 of the 3 morals. (15 mins) 

    • PART 6: Make sure your name is on it and turn it in to sub. 

    • PART 7: In small groups, discuss challenges you are having with project #1 and submit any quesstions to Mr.O via Remind. (10 mins)
