GRASP this Project
G: Create an researched essay that argues for the cause of the Holocaust.
R: You are an entry level paralegal at the International Criminal Court (the Hague) currently.
A: Your audience is your boss and a few of your coworkers, but your arguments should likely be used by lawyers in the "Trials."
S: The situation is that another Nazi leader of Dachau has been found and while the other paralegals with more experience will be working on the legal arguments, you have been given the assignment of finding the historical background which might constitute much of the defense's argument. You don't work for the defense, but are trying to uncover a solid argument which might shift blame away from the defendant. "What caused the Holocaust?"
P: Create an researched and cited essay that meets the elements presented above and follows MLA (or other) format.
S: This will be graded based on the below rubric. And you will be fired if you underwhelm your boss.

Guide & Expectations
Likely length is 6 to 8 paragraphs and 3 to 4 pages.
Minimum works cited should not be the expectation - do the research you need to make and support your argument and cite accordingly.
Submit to Turn-it-in.com - any score over 14% will force your teacher to search for plagiarism. Any plagiarism will result in a zero.
You should make certain that the argument you seek to make will easily meet all of the requirements for this assignment. Remember, sometimes your own opinion is more complicated than just making a different (but valid) choice.
Think about blame. It might be easier to try and blame the Holocaust on something, someone, or some event. What might that be?
Peer edited and reviewed.
Grammar checked before it is turned in.
