LINCS for
- Mixture - a combination of substances in which the individual substances keep their own properties
- Organic Compound - compounds containing carbon and hydrogen found in living things
- Inorganic Compound - compounds made from elements other than carbon whose atoms can only be arranged in one structure
- Carbohydrate - an organic compound that supplies energy for cell processes
- Lipid - an organic compound that does not mix with water and forms a major part of cell membranes
- Protein - an organic compound that are made of amino acids and are the building blocks of many structures
- Nucleic Acid - large organic compounds that store important cellular information like DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) or RNA (ribonucleic acid)
- Enzyme - a type of protein that regulates (controls) nearly all chemical reactions in cells

DO NOW -- If you owe work (including completing a test) you will have 10 minutes at the beginning of class to complete/organize yourself.
TODAY WILL BE A "CATCH UP" DAY FOR EVERYONE.
If you feel you are "caught up," you can begin drawing some compounds!!!
