NCC was started on 16^th Nov 2011. 50 cadets enrolled and have started marching towards excellence.

NCC ACHIEVEMENTS 2014-15

Our Secretary Dr. (Ms.) K. S. Lakshmi honoured NCC Cadets of our college (From Right) CDT A.Elavarasi (I B.A Economics), CDT B.Priyadharshini(I Bsc Maths), CDT R.Pavithra (I Bsc Maths), SGT A.Gayathri (III B.com E1 ) who were selected for guard of honour ceremony due to their outstanding marching performance skill and smart turnout and made the college proud by participating in the “CHIEF MINISTER RALLY 2015” held at “Asan Memorial school” on 3^rd feb 2015 .

NCC ACHIEVEMENTS 2013-14

T.Sheeladevi II Computer Sciences elected for the INTERGROUP TSC (shooting) competitions during the month of August held at Coimbatore and T.Sheeladevi secured second place in GROUP FIRING (2cm) by using Deluxe Rifle.

P.Mahalakshmi II PBPBT participated in the INTERGROUP NCC competitions and RDC selections held at Madurai during the month of October. Shehas been selected for the republic day preparation camp. (PRDC).

National level NCC Achievement:

R.Abinaya III B.com E1 has been selected to represent the Tamil Nadu Pondicherry and Andaman Directorate in the RDC NCC Kabbadi tournament going to be held at New Delhi from 17^thOctober to 27^th October.

State level achievements:

Ganeshpriya II B.com (day) and V.Aradhana III English lit. represented Madras Group A Table tennis team in the intergroup NCC Sports competitions held at Salem and the team won GOLD medal

NCC cadets of our college participated in Republic day parade at Marina held on 26/01/2014.

NCC Achievements 2012 - 2013

Sgl. (Sargent) S.VijayShanthi of II chemistry has been selected to represent TamilNadu, Pondicherry and Andaman Nicobar Directorate contingent in the Republic Day Inter Directorate NCC Competition going to be held at New Delhi from 2nd Jan to 27th Jan 2013.

NCC Achievements 2011 - 2012

• 36 NCC cadets attended Combined Annual Training camp held at Avadi during the month Dec. 2011.

• Cadet S.Vijay Shanthi of first year, B.Sc. Chemistry and Cadet A.Sowmya of first year, B.Sc. Physics were the proud participants from our college in the Marina Republic Day Parade 2012 representing TamilNadu Girls Battalion NCC.

• 35 Cadets appeared for ‘B’ Certificate examination held at Pachaiyappa College Chennai on 18^th and 19^th Feb 2012. All 35 cadets passed the exams successfully.

• In inter district NCC competition for Chief Minister Banner the selection camp was held at Vel Tech engineering college held at Avadi, 4 of our cadets were selected for selection trails.

4) M.Shankari

Out of which cadet S.Kalaiselvi and S.Vijay Shanthi were selected to attend final training camp for Chief Minister Banner, inter district NCC competition 2012. These Cadets will represent MADRAS ‘A’ GROUP.

• In the All India Trekking Camp 2012 held at Nilgiris from 3^rd May to 16^th May, 9 of our NCC cadets attended and completed the camp successfully.
