Recent Activities

Mathematics (Shift-I)

• On 24^th January 2019, Dr. P. Punithavathy, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, Queen Mary’s College, delivered a lecture on Lattices for I & II M.Sc. Students. It was immensely beneficial and informative to the Students.

• A Quiz Competition on Mathematical concepts was conducted by PG Students for non-mathematics major students of the college on 22^nd January 2019.

• on 18 July 2019, Mathematics Association activities, for the year 2019 – 2020 was inaugurated of by Dr. C. Ponnuraja Scientist E, Head, Department of Statistics, National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, Indian Council of Medical Research, Chetpet.

• Seminar on Statistical Analysis on 17/09/2019 inaugurated by Dr. R. Ravanan, Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Chennai region, Chennai 600015.

Mathematics (Shift-II)

• Inauguration of Mathematics Association activities for the year 2019 – 2020 by Dr. S. Sundar, DAAD Research Ambassador, Head, Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai on 17/07/2019.

• Dr. Amit K Biswas, Professor, Indian Statistical Institute, Chennai-29 delivered a talk on opportunities in statistics on 25/09/2019.
