The Department of English was started in 1975 and B.A Branch XII English in 1977. Since its inception, the Department has aimed to train and equip students of the college with language skills to enable them to communicate effectively in their work spaces. To this end the department has planned its lessons to incorporate requisite elements essential for communication in English like grammar, LSRW (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing) skills and vocabulary exercises.
