International Dot Day

We recently read the book, The Dot, by Peter H. Reynolds. The book tells the story of a caring teacher who reaches a reluctant student in a creative way. The class will participate in an international webinar via Discovery Education to celebrate Dot Day. The students will be encouraged to "make their mark" through creativity and self-expression.

STAR Assessments

The Math and Reading STAR Assessments will be administered to second graders in the computer lab on Tuesday. This diagnostic test will provide important progress monitoring three times throughout the school year. For more detailed information, see Mr. Ernstberger's Letter to Parents, which was delivered via the Weekly HFS News email. http://holyfamilyeagles.org/principal/2016/09/08/letter-from-the-principal-september-8-2016/
