Mass Prayer Cards

According to Father Dan's recent parent letter, your children are required

to collect prayer card tokens after mass each week (at least 24 out of

30) in preparation for First Holy Communion. Please help your child

select a special folder or envelope to organize the prayer cards until

Father Dan talks about them next April.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Conferences to discuss your child's academic and work skills progress

will be held on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Please review the

lengthy standards-based report online prior to the conference. I will

have the traditional report card printed.

Johnny Appleseed Day

Thanks to the many parent volunteers who provided our "applelicious"

supplies! Thanks to Mrs. Wilkes for accompanying the class on the

rotations. The students played apple jack bingo with caramel apple

suckers for prizes, made an apple tree art project, and heard a story

about a little red house with no doors and windows and a star inside

before making a painted apple print. We culminated the afternoon with a scrumptious treat of apple slices with caramel.
