Easter
The students made crowns of glory for Jesus as we celebrate His resurrection and new life. During Holy Week, we read the book, Benjamin's Box, and followed the crucifixion story from Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday with symbols inside the resurrection eggs.
First Communion Due Dates
First Communion Banners and Parent Homework Letters (printed writing) are due on Friday, April 15th.
Students were given mass responses to memorize by April 21, 2016. Students should already be familiar with these since we recite them during mass each week.
Farnsley-Moremen Landing Field Trip
We have a field trip scheduled to the Farnsley-Moremen Landing on Tuesday, May 3rd, from 9:15 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. All parents who have completed the Safe and Sacred training are welcome to attend for an admission fee of $6. Permission slips were sent home today.
Field Day T-Shirts
Field Day T-Shirts (plain white) are also due by Friday, April 15th.
Butterflies
Ms. J. presented us with three butterfly larva during her last teaching visit. The class will watch them work furiously to spin their cocoons and metamorphosize into beautiful butterflies. The kids voted on these names: Captain Marshmallow, Rosie, and Jewel.
Science
Students made Water Cycle bracelets during Science today. The different colored beads represent the different stages of the water cycle. Ask your child to explain the water cycle to you.
