Science Does Matter!
We combined a solid powder with a liquid to form a liquid batter. Heat was added to change the matter into solid pancakes. The students loved sampling the finished products!
100th Day of School
Partners rolled dice 100 times and tallied the results.
We made the number "100" for our snack.
Family Faith Formation Day- February 6th 12:30 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.
Please arrive to the school cafeteria at 12:30 p.m. to sign-in. Your child may wear comfortable clothing for the formation day and then change into church clothes at the conclusion of the last session. Snacks and drinks will be provided in addition to a light soup meal before mass begins.
**Please practice reading the Appostles' Creed with your child. We will read the prayer (from a laminated card) as part of the Rite of Enrollment on Saturday. The prayer is included with this week's homework.
Catholic Schools Week: January 31-February 5
Monday 2/1- Wear your PJs to school and play bingo with your school family team.
Tuesday 2/2- Send loose change to the classroom for the Coins for Community contest. The class with the largest donation chooses the charity that receives the total amount collected by the school.
Wednesday 2/3- Can Castle Canned Food Drive for St. Vicent De Paul
Macaroni and Cheese, Canned Potatoes,Canned Carrots,Tuna Fish, Beef Stew, Chicken Dumplings, Spaghetti Noodles, Canned Spaghetti Sauce,Grape Jelly (plastic),Canned Fruit,Canned Soups, Ravioli/Spaghettios, Paper Towels, 4pks Toilet Paper,and Dish Soap
Thursday 2/4- Wear your Spirit Wear to school for the pep rally!
Friday 2/5- Wear your Dress Clothing and invite your parents and grandparents to the Special Persons' Mass!
