Classroom Hug
Our students insisted on a classroom Christmas hug before we left for break! We have such a loving crew of kids and helpers!
Christmas Service Project
The students did a fabulous job performing Christmas songs at the Bennett Place Assisted Living Home. Music filled the hearts of the residents, and many of the elderly citizens were brought to tears! Since the residents love music and singing, the students' service project donations allowed us to purchase a "community" Karaoke machine that can be played on the TV screen for all residents to enjoy. My grandmother is a resident at the home, and she informed me that both the staff and residents were thoroughly impressed with the singing and behavior of the students. I call that "shining" for Jesus!
Advent Celebration
Thanks to our fabulous room parents for planning an amazing Advent party! The children made a Christmas tree craft, played Pin the Eyes on the Snowman game, and enjoyed delicious sweet treats and juice.

Thank you so, so much for the beautiful poinsettia gift card tree from the whole class! I loved receiving the gift cards from all of my favorite places! The food and restaurant cards are very much appreciated on my faculty meeting days.
First Communion Family Formation
Please mark your calendars for the upcoming First Communion Family Formation on February 6th from 12:30 p.m.- 4:45 p.m. (Attendance is mandatory for First Communion.) The day will culminate with the Rite of Enrollment Mass from 5:00-6:00 p.m. A request for volunteers to provide snacks for the day will be coordinated through a Sign-Up Genius link. More information, including a R.S.V.P form, will be forthcoming...
I can't wait to see my dear students and teach them cursive writing on Monday!
