Flubaroo and Grading Assessments

One Secondary School in Highland has been looking at how Chrome devices (they have a Book and a Box) can support students in their Support for Learning Base. On behalf of the Principle Teacher:Positive examples of progress:

We have been conducting preliminary assessments for EAL students using Google Forms, Sheets and Classroom. These assessments are automatically graded by Flubaroo extension which has allowed us to identify specific areas we can target for differentiated teaching.

One student with ASC and a pupil (that was finding accessing school incredibly difficult) is now making good use of the Chrome Box. She has uploaded her materials for English into her Google drive and is now directing her learning more. We have seen a significant improvement in her confidence and her attendance has improved significantly.
