As part of the pilot, teachers are exploring all the apps that are available in the Chrome Web Store. To be helpful there is now a 'Our Favourite Apps' page. This lists apps as we find them.
For example, today a teacher who is using Google Apps for Education has discovered an app that helps change the background and font of the page in the browser. This is a free app. Because it is on the browser and not on the device, it means this pupil can use it on personal devices, Chromebooks and school managed devices. This is able to take place because it is linked to her Google Apps for Education account. They were able to install it in seconds.
