OPEN ENROLLMENT FOR 2027 WILL OPEN ON OCTOBER 1, 2026

• Voluntary Changes to your Healthcare Election

• Submission of new/changes of Healthcare Waiver Form Waiver Payments  - includes those hired in 2026

• New/Changes to your AFLAC Policies - sit down with an AFLAC representative

• Sign up for Flex Spending (must do annually)

You may change your Benefits outside of open enrollment provided you have a qualifying event 

and submit paperwork within 30 days after the event (prior to the event is best).  

You can make the following changes any time of the year:

• Update beneficiaries on your District paid Life Insurance Policy (if eligible)

• Make changes to your NYSaves 529 Plans

• Make changes to your Retirement Savings - OMNI 403 plans (Pretax or ROTH) and NYSDCP 457 plans (Pretax or ROTH)

• ​Order additional NYSHIP cards HERE - complete the Google form and get them mailed directly to you by NYS Civil Service (allow 2 weeks for delivery)

• Change your Payroll Tax Withholding  - speak with your tax professional about the best way to fill out the W-4 or IT-2014 for your family/income/marital situation.

• Change your Direct Deposit
