OPEN ENROLLMENT FOR 2027 WILL OPEN ON OCTOBER 1, 2026

• Voluntary Changes to your Healthcare Election

• Submission of new/changes of Healthcare Waiver Form Waiver Payments 

• New/Changes to your AFLAC Policies

• Sign up for Flex Spending (must do annually)

You may change your Benefits outside of open enrollment provided you have a qualifying event 

and submit paperwork within 30 days after the event (prior to the event is best).  

You can make the following changes any time of the year:

• Update beneficiaries on your District paid Life Insurance Policy (if eligible)

• Make changes to your NYSaves 529 Plans

• Make changes to your Retirement Savings - 403b, 457b or 457 ROTH

• ​Order additional NYSHIP cards HERE - complete the Google form and get them mailed directly to you by NYS Civil Service (allow 2 weeks)

• Change your Payroll Tax Withholding  - speak with your tax professional about the best way to fill out the W-4 or IT-2014 for your family/income/marital situation.

• Change your Direct Deposit
