General Information
If you are currently enrolled in either the Healthcare FSA or the Dependent Care FSA your participation will end on December 31. Each year during Open Enrollment in October, you must make a new election for the following January 1 – December 31 Plan Year.
HOW TO ACCESS YOUR HealthEquity/Wageworks FSA ACCOUNT
YOU MUST SIGN UP EACH YEAR TO BE RE-ENROLLED AND PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU KEEP A COPY OF YOUR SUBMISSION.
New hires can enroll for the remainder of the calendar year but must also make a new election for the following Plan Year. For qualifying events, you may request the current year's HealthEquity FSA application from the Employee Benefits Department.
Qualifying Events are allowed for FSA plans within 30 days of the event. This will allow you to change your annual election if you need to - you cannot decrease your election to less than what you contributed or already was reimbursed for. Contact the Benefits Department for the Change Form and to see if your specific situation qualifies.
