Spreadsheets

So Why is Excel So important? Most workplaces are looking for the skills to easily and automatically organize, add, remove and calculate data related to their business. With all of this data, people are able to make choices on future financial decision based upon what they have recorded in their spreadsheets. The use of excel can be as advanced as an account in a large business or bank, but even as simple as you keeping track of your monthly bills at home, or even player data for all of your fantasy sports teams.

Microsoft Excel can seem like a very intimidating program that is full of rows, columns, numbers, equations, numbers, more numbers, AHHHH! Don't worry, Excel is simply. "a software program that allows the easy analysis and manipulation of data using tables and formulas."(1) The great thing about Excel is that it will calculate mathematical equations for you and even create visual graphs/ grids for you to print out or include in a word document or website. The catch is that there are many shortcuts and equations to enter, and if you are not familiar with the program it may be a bit confusing.

With my help, you will be able to create tables and format them properly, calculate simple equations such as sums and averages, and create graphs based upon the date you have in your tables. We will be working together in a step by step method until you understand the basics.
