Profiles allow you to render your doors, drawer fronts and panels to emulate many style of slabs and 5-piece doors. With this, you are able to render raised panel doors, mitered doors, doors with mouldings...
You can use the example profiles that come with CabinetSense or you can modify them to suit you and even create your own profiles.
For a thorough introduction to Profiles, I recommend watching the 3 part series on this topic.
Every Profile can be made up of 4 parts:
- Outside Profile (required, SLAB and 5 Piece): The outside Profile controls what the perimeter of the door will look like. When Placing an outside profile, the bottom of the profile must be drawn on the X axis.
- Inside Profile (optional, 5 Piece only): The inside Profile is only applicable on a 5 piece door and will control what the the inside edge of stile and rails will look like. The bottom right hand corner of this profile must be place on the intersection of the X and Y Axis.
- Panel Profile (required, 5 Piece only): This profile controls what the panel inserts of your 5 piece door will look like. The bottom left hand corner of this profile must be placed on the intersection of the X and Y Axis.
- Applied Moulding (optional, 5 Piece only): The applied moulding is rendered exactly where and how you draw it in your profile. There are no placement requirements for this profile.
