Machining Database

This section explains how the database works, the screens used to maintain your data, and how it affects the DXF generations for your components

The machining part of CabinetSense has been designed around the notion of a template. Each template can have a complete set of specifications for all aspects of machining (dadoes, dowels, line boring, hinging...). You can have as many templates as you want with each having it's own different set of specifications. Your models use the Default template specification unless you overide this. You can easily switch templates by entering the new template name in the Project Component.

All dimensions are assumed to be in "inches" unless you append mm (millimeter) as the unit of measure.
