CabinetSense has the ability to machine MDF doors, drawer fronts and panels. Each of these components has an attribute available for you to specify the door profile to machine.
You can also specify the Door Profile template to use in the Project Component. The template specified in the project will be used for all components that do not specify their own profile to use.
The machining for MDF doors duplicates the 5 piece door that was defined in the model. The stile and rail widths, # rows and columns are all replicated in the machining. Because these are MDF doors, they must be machined out of slab style doors.
In order to tell CabinetSense that you want to produce MDF doors instead actual 5-piece or Slab doors, you must render your profiles before exporting your data. CabinetSense looks to see if rendering is on and will produce MDF doors for you. any associated machining that you have defined for the profile will be automatically added to the CNC export.
Rendering your profiles are a snapshot in time and will only reflect the settings that were in place at the time of rendering. If you make changes after that, your rendered images will not be correct... and more importantly, your exported MDF doors will not be correct either.
The best way of ensuring that your export will be correct is to render your doors immediately prior to exporting your data. This ensures that any changes you have made are reflected in the latest rendering.
