Max. # Elevation Width lines per side: Using the countertop mount height (project component) as the separator for dimension lines on the top vs the bottom, you can tell CabinetSense the maximum # lines to show on each of the top and the bottom. This does not include the wall length.
Max. # Elevation Height lines per side: CabinetSense uses the mid-point of the total width of items being dimensioned to determine if the dimension line is placed on the left or right side. This number is the maximum number of lines to be shown on each side. This does not include the wall length.
Max. # Plan lines per upper and Base: CabinetSense uses the countertop mount height as the demarcation line to classify the line as being an upper or base line. This number is the maximum number of lines to be shown for each of the base and upper. This does not include wall length.
Suppress Dimension Lines when <=: CabinetSense looks at all of the items and the intersections they have with each other. Each intersection combination results in a possible dimension line. This attribute allows you to discard less significant lines. (these would normally be the result of applied ends, fillers…).
Use Callout Format when <=: There are two Dimension formats that can be used. Specify the width that triggers the callout format:
Space between lines: Specify how far apart the dimension lines should be from each other>
Dimension folder: By default, you use the dimensions that are defined in CabinetSense. You can change this to use your own dimension. There is a Dimension folder included with the CabinetSense Library that you downloaded from the website. You can modify these dimensions (font, size…) to meet your preferred format for documentation. Simply choose the “choose new folder…” option in the dropdown list and hit the OK button.
This will bring up a navigation dialog where you can choose the folder containing the dimensions that you want to use.
Modifying the Dimension Font
Modifying a dimension font is the same process as modifying and saving a cabinet back to your library. Drag the dimension into your model (an empty model is best). The dimension object that you just brought in is a component and the actual dimension is inside. Edit the dimension component to get at the actual dimension. Then use the Entity Info dialog to access the font characteristics. Change as desired and when you are done, save the dimension back to your dimension folder.
