There are two different Fill operations.
Working inside a Cabinet
Fill gives you the ability to evenly space:
It will also keep the spacing equal as you resize your cabinet.
Usage: Single Component
You can enter one (and only one) of the following.
# Copies: The number of copies you want of the selected component.
Minimum Opening Size: The minimum opening that you want between copies. CabinetSense will create the maximum possible number of copies that can fit into the overall space.
You can enter the size plus an optional unit of measure (such as 900mm). It defaults to your models unit of measure.
Example:
CabinetSense locks the component after it as equalized the spacing. It does this for a couple of reasons:
Important: If you delete a component that bounds the original opening space, all associated locked parts are unlocked and the spacing returns back to the normal placement properties of the part.
Placing Cabinets and other External Components
Fill allows you to rapidly Fill an area with equal sized copies of your selected Component. This operation finds what is to the left and right of the selected component, determines the possible fill solutions and selects the fill option that makes the most sense.
This operation only works on CabinetSense aware Items.
