The ePortfolio is an initiative that the English Department decided to implement for the 2011-12 school year and beyond. It consists of two separate portfolios, based on grade level. The 9th-11th grade portfolio is an online storage of artifacts, reflections, and goals from these grades. The 12th grade portfolio is a Showcase portfolio for students to select and present their best work from high school.
The e-Portfolio is designed to give you the following in addition to what we cover in class:
- to create a digital archive of your work (projects, papers, drafts, etc.)
- to provide a space for feedback and discussion of you writing
- to practice using digital tools efficiently in the writing process
- to provide models and a forum for writing that will help you as you mature as a writer yourself
- to provide a means for you to showcase your work in my class
