Fall 2025 -
Continuing what we did last year, the Math department will be offering a combined MATH 1414 and MATH 2412 course. This is an accelerated course that combines MATH 1414, College Algebra for Precalculus, and MATH 2412, Precalculus in a single semester, allowing a one-semester pathway into Calculus. Topics from both courses will be integrated.
This course will meet Monday through Thursday, 8 hours a week.
Homework will be assigned daily and exams will be every other week
Requirement: TSI Complete or Exempt in math - eligible to take MATH 1414
*Orientation required: an online short orientation the week before classes begin with the instructor. More information will be provided about two weeks before classes start- make sure to check your ACC email to get information about it. If you do not attend this orientation, you may be dropped from the paired course.
