Starting in Fall 2026, NCBM 0222 will be NCBM 0122.
Petition for MATH 1414/MATH 2412
Continuing what we did last year, the Math department will be offering a combined MATH 1414 and MATH 2412 course. This is an accelerated course that combines MATH 1414, College Algebra for Precalculus, and MATH 2412, Precalculus in a single semester, allowing a one-semester pathway into Calculus. Topics from both courses will be integrated.
This course will meet Monday through Thursday, 8 hours a week.
Homework will be assigned daily and exams will be every other week
Requirement: TSI Complete or Exempt in math - eligible to take MATH 1414
Do note that starting in Spring 2027, we are only offering one section of MATH 1414/MATH 2412 that will be offered at HLC.
Petitions for MATH 1414/MATH 2412 will close on Friday, January 15th at 5PM.
