Placement and prerequisites

Make sure that you have adequate background in math before registering for any course in this Calculus sequence. Students who have passed MATH 2412 Precalculus or its college/university level equivalent with a C or higher are eligible to enroll in MATH 2413 Calculus I. If you did not recently successfully complete a prerequisite course, take the ACC Advanced Math Assessment at any ACC Testing Center and meet with an advisor to find out what course is best for you.
