Subject specific student work which the IB Organization assesses in advance of the May exams:
In every IB course, the IB Organization requires students to submit, in advance of the May exams, Internal Assessments (IAs).
In some IB courses, the IB Organization also requires students to submit, in advance of the May exams, External Assessments (EAs).
It is important to note, the IB Organization requires each IB subject (within their school) to establish internal deadlines - which final drafts of both the IAs and EAs are to be submitted to the IB subject teacher. These deadlines have been shared by all IB teachers with their students.
Failure to submit the final draft for any IA or EA by the teachers' established deadline is grounds for removal from that IB course.
After the teacher receives the final IA and / or EA drafts , the work will be reviewed (again) to ensure it meets all requirements aligned with the IB Organization's academic integrity policy. If a teacher determines the work does not meet these requirements, a review will be done. After the review, if it is determined the IB Organization's academic integrity guidelines have not been met, the student's work will not be submitted to the IB Organization and the student will be removed from that IB course.

IB Fees May 2024 Session - on this page you will see that should a student be removed from an IB course which is being assessed in the May, 2024 session - after January 15th, 2024, the student will incur the fee for registration of the course ($119) plus the late fee for removal from the course ($150). This is a total of $269 / IB course.
It is each students' responsibility to submit all work the IB Organization assesses in advance of the May exams by the IB teachers' Internal Deadline and to ensure their work is 100% aligned to the IB Organization's academic integrity policy.
