- Received a rubric and went over it---this rubric must be used as a "cross check" when writing the essay
- Opened up our essays on banning books ( PROMPT: Should parents or other adults be able to ban books from schools and libraries?
- Got out our sample essays we went over yesterday to use as a help in structuring our own paper
- Got out notes on the John Green video and on the pros and cons of banning books
Typed and FINISHED the essay in 40 minutes--printed an turned in with RUBRIC stapled to the front
