Where can I park my car?

If you have a car, please disclose it at the time of signing the lease. Our front yard can hold 3 cars and cars can also be parked on the opposite side of the street overnight, though by-laws may change without us knowing it.

At the time of this writing, unless there is a sign stating otherwise, you can park on any side of the street for a maximum of 3 hours but this is enforced only if a neighbor calls to complain. For more up-to-date information about parking rules and by-laws you can call Parking Authority at 416-393-7275 (x5) or Toronto Police Street Parking at 416-808-6600. If this is not agreed in the lease, you or your friends cannot park in our driveway without first obtaining our consent.

In the event that we allow parking for one car, please make sure that it is parked within 10 inches of the middle raised border, otherwise a car cannot be parked besides it and you would be occupying 2 spots. Also, parking your car over the pedestrian crossing may cause your car to be towed should a neighbor complain.

In our area small landlords might charge $30 / month for parking per car, $3 for one day and $5 for two days.
