Lux Radio Theatre Errors Page 4

Lux "JANE EYRE" #182 06-27-1938 is supposedly unavailable. It must

star Helen Hayes, Robert Montgomery to be right.

Often #443 06/05/1944 or #621 14/06/1948 are mislabeled as this one.

Lux "THE LAST OF MRS. CHEYNEY" #72, 1936-03-16, with Miriam Hopkins

is also supposed to be unavailable. If it has Norma Shearer or next

weeks program is not "THe Song and Dance Man", it is wrong and just

a mislabeled copy of Lux #351 "THE LAST OF MRS. CHEYNEY", 1942-05-

11, with Norma Shearer, Walter Pidgeon, and Adolphe Menjou.

Lux "Jane Eyre" was done three times but only two versions are

supposed to be available.

Watch for Lux #564, 1947-03-17, "Leave Her To Heaven". My copy

only has the start of the program and the end is another distorted

program.

I have seen a Lux program dated August, 8, 1941, "The Tell Tale

Heart" with Borris Karlof. That is not a valid Lux program or date

of a Lux program.

Not available: "HOW GREEN WAS MY VALLEY" #566 03-31-47 with Donald

Crisp, David Niven and Maureen O'Sullivan

Lux "A Tale of Two Cities" was done three times and sometimes

the programs are mislabeled.

I have all three of them although Jerry Haendiges shows the ]

last one as unavailable on his log.
