ODB Part 8: The Doomsday Shuttle
As the ODB war continued to rage on, Cool Guy went nuclear. Weapons of Mass Destruction have never been used in an OBS war; all parties had an understanding that to go beyond galactic (and then later, universe) destroying weapons was uncalled for. That ended when Cool Guy unveiled the Doomsday Shuttle:
Using a picture of ProvostQ, the doomsday shuttle struck fear in the hearts of the opposition. Internet Explorer refused to render the thread and Netscape caused people's CRT displays to crack when it finished loading the picture. This was uncalled for, and perfect for a war in the OBSverse. As the Doomsday Shuttle revealed itself to the enemy, it caused them to flee rather than to fight. In the picture below, a group of Shadow Battlecrabs do just that..
Always the copycat, Laird once again ripped off the design and launched an assault on the allies.
As both sides were now using WMDs, the situation escalated to unseen proportions. Cool Guy unveiled the latest and greatest weapon in his arsenal: The Doomsday Shuttle Mark II. When it comes to WMDs, bigger is always better [video unavailable].
However, Cool Guy realized that he may need a more manageable sized WMD that was still greater than the first one, so he created the Doomsday Shuttle Mark 1.5.
