OCG Part 05: Total War
With the war quickly heating up to a level that has not been seen since the original OBS war, all hell breaks loose. Pecenipicek recovers from his previous battles and unleashes a massive strike against both Golar and RJB. Golar's Death Star comes under heavy fire while Singh's ship (the one that was involved in the first strike against Pecenipicek) is obliterated.
Soon after, Pecenipicek launches an attack on RJB's fleet while in hyperspace, taking out the main destroyer. The OCG thread is now in a state of total war and there is no looking back.
Golar builds up an armada of destroyers and Death Stars to launched a counter assault on Pecenipicek.
Unfortunately for Golar, Cool Guy quickly intervenes and launches a squadron of shuttles. Using their phasers, the shuttles smash Golar's armada and ends his dream of a counter assault. One shuttle even scores a triple Death Star kill with one shot. Bunch of overpowered nonsense. I love it.
ClaysGhost joins in on the fun and launches an attack on RJB's base. Some ask why members launched their attacks on certain people; for example, why did ClaysGhost decide to attack RJB and not Singh? The better question is, why not?
Not prepared to go down with a fight, RJB respond's to ClaysGhost's attack with formidable firepower. Sharp eyes will notice that not every ship was attacked though; it appears as if two escorts remained untouched. In an OBS war, always make sure to destroy everything on screen. Always. The more detailed that the destruction is, the lower the survival rate will be.
As RJB's ships are engaged in battle, he calls for reinforcements. While some may think that the big question is if they will arrive in time, what people should be asking is, why would you make a render that leaves an entire fleet of your ships open for attack? Golar did it with his Death Star fleet, and now RJB is doing it with his reinforcements. This is the best things about the noobs fighting each other; they find out about all these things the hard way.
As Pecenipicek launches his counter attack on Singh and Golar, Cpl_Facehugger comes out of nowhere. The OCG war has now gotten to the point where Singh is destroying Pecenipicek while another one of Pecenipicek's ship is launching a counter-assault on Singh at the same time that Cpl_Facehugger is launching a surprise attack on Pecenipicek's ship that is launching a counter-assault on Singh! The OBSverse is awesome.
Itching for a fight with someone else, RJB decides to attack Cpl_Facehugger. The reason? He needed to destroy something before he went to bed. This is was the OBSverse is all about.
