投稿日: Sep 22, 2018 8:38:40 PM

I just released a new version of CasualConc (2.1.0) with a updated manual.

This version has a few new features and some bug fixes.

New features

- Multiple corpus lists - now you can have multiple lists of corpora and move/copy corpora among them

- Advanced filtering on Word Count and Collocation - you can apply mulitiple filters even on frequency/proportion columns

- Lemmatizing on Word Count list - you can start a new lemma list create on the Word Count list or after lemmatization is applied, you can add a unrecognized ones and modify the lemma list

- Word Chain - you can follow the collocation chain on the left or right (not and) of the searched word(s)

- Batch tagger - simple tagger using TreeTagger, Stanford CoreNLP, MeCab (need to be separately installed)

- Boxplot function on Random Forest Keyword extraction - you can select words on the result table and create box plots of them

- (experimental) Representativeness/Distinctiveness keyword extraction - this is an experimental feature utlizing Klaussner et al.'s (2015) method

- Name Entity Extractor - using either macOS's built-in tagger or Stanford CoreNLP (need to be installed separately), create a list of proper nouns - the resulting list is not very accurate, but you can create a stop word list of proper nouns with this

- Completely re-built Chart tool - a new variable selection function is added (the same as the new Freqency Plot tool)

- Frequency Plot - using information from multiple files and create box plots, violin plot, bean plot, histogram, and bar plot. The barplot function plots the average (not raw frequency counts). Descriptive statistics are provided on the result window.

A lot of minor bug fixes have been made.

If you find any bug/problem, please let me know.
