17. Describe what you know about the International Year of Astronomy.
It is the year marking 400 years since Galileo Galilei first use a telescope to observe the stars and planets and Moon and changed our view of our Universe. It was celebrated world wide and Tanzania also marked it with many activities, including talks, star shows, telescope distribution etc.
