Vogel Lake Cabin

I went to this cabin in August of 2011. There is no trail into the cabin so the privacy should be good. The refuge area has a done a great job fixing up historic cabins and this is a great example. It looks a little rough on the outside but is very nice on the inside. The cabin is good for a crowd. The lake is good for fishing, while I was there a ten year old kid walked in with a dinner size trout. When looking at the lake there is a constriction in the middle which is about 100 feet wide. Both ends of the lake are usable and the narrow point is mostly Lilly pads.
