Hasselborg Creek Cabin

I landed at this cabin about five years ago. If you look at the last picture you can see a lot of lily pads, this side would not get you to the cabin. I am going back in 2012 to see if I can find a good moorage spot. In 2012 a discovered a few things and got to the cabin for the first time. This cabin is part of the route across the Island and this is where the trail ends coming from Guerin Lake. The trail comes out at a shelter which is about a half mile to the north, and then continues to the cabin. I landed there at a very bad tie up which would only be OK in calm water. After arriving at the cabin it looked like you could bring a plane on the south side of the marsh in front of the cabin, if this route is open it would be a great moorage for the plane. This is an old historic cabin and would be fine for 2 people.
