Parent Notes

A note from the parent/guardian is required for special requests. If we do not have a note from the parent/guardian, we will not be able to honor the request. Examples of when a parent note is required include the following:

  • For all absences, late arrivals and early dismissals as detailed in the Attendance Policy found in this handbook on pages 6-7.
  • Any change in dismissal plan.
  • Walking home from school, or walking to a friend’s house.
  • Being picked up by someone other than the custodial parent.
  • If the child is going to another child’s home. (In this case, notes should be sent by both parents to ensure both parties know what is going on.)
