Welcome back to school! We are off to a great start of a new school year!

We look forward to seeing you at our Back to School Night event on September 5th. Please see below for more information.

As the new year gets underway, please don’t forget to complete the “Back to School Packet” located in PowerSchool by September 14, if you haven’t already done so. More information is below.

Please contact the main office if you have any questions or if you need assistance logging in to your PowerSchool account.

Thank you,

Mrs. Fordham, Principal

Back to School Event

Our Back to School Event will be held on Wednesday, September 5th from 6:00-7:15. Valley Park families will be able to meet teachers, take a bus ride and complete a scavenger hunt that highlights important rooms in our building. Back to School Packet

In Pennsville School District, our Back to School Packet is completely electronic and is located in your student's PowerSchool account. Please make sure to complete process by September 14, if you haven’t already done so. This process will update all of our "back to school forms", including dismissal plans, emergency contacts, and medical information that the school needs for your child, so it is very important that this process be completed for every returning student. For all students who are NEW to Pennsville School District, you will not need to complete this process, as you just completed the information upon registration.

** Please note that those students riding a bus must have the dismissal bus protocol information completed by September 19th to continue riding the bus. Please contact the main office if you have any questions or if you need assistance logging in to your PowerSchool account.

What is the Escort Program?

All students are grouped as a bus rider, Escort “Pick Up Pals” Program participant, Just Kids participant, or “other”. All students who are not riding a bus or who are not participating in the Escort Program or Just Kids are dismissed at the side of the building. Please note that staff cannot ensure that a student walks home with or is picked up by any particular person unless that student is enrolled in the Escort “Pick Up Pals” Program. Enrollment forms are available in the main office or click the picture to download. Thank you!

School Lunches

Starting this school year, lunches will be closed to visitors. This change is a part of our ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of students and staff.
