SolidProfessor Computer Aided Design (CAD) training accounts. This online platform provides simple to follow but in-depth CAD training. The CAD homework will be done on though this account, so it is a required purchase. The cost for the account is $50 which is a special UCSD reduced price (regular price is $75/year), and the duration of the account has been doubled to 2 years for us. When you purchase your account it will be listed as a 1 year purchase, but SolidProfessor will manually add an extra year for UCSD students by the end of the quarter. COURSE CODE: morimotoFA19 You will have access to the full SolidProfessor suite, and if you already have CAD experience you will be able to do advanced modules which can prepare you for CAD certification for a wide range of CAD packages. There are also modules on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and Finite Element Analysis. We will be using Autodesk Inventor in MAE 3. Students who drop the class by the end of week 2 (we hope you don't) or who are on the waitlist can get their SolidProfessor account reimbursed.
