Prior to 2022, iGGi took part in the Global Game Jam (GGJ) every year. This event happens on the last weekend in January and is the world's largest game creation event taking place around the globe boasting tens of thousands of participants (jammers) at hundreds of physical and virtual sites in over one hundred countries around the world. For more information please see the event website. In years when iGGi is partaking in the GGJ, you will be registered by iGGi admin prior to the event.
Since 2022 iGGi has opted to instead host our own, internal game jam. This format was used in January 2023 and 2024.
The 2025 iGGi Game Jam will take place at the University of York. Watch this space for updates.
