Nonfiction Chapter Books/All About Books- Informational

Our Nonfiction writing unit is All About Books. Students will be writing with the purpose of teaching the reader all about a topic.

Writers will create a list of topics that they are experts on and can teach about. Writers will learn to include a beginning that gets the readers attention and names their topic. They will learn to include headings, specific information on their topic, nonfiction features in their pictures and an ending that wraps up their all about book.

Writers will be revising and editing and publishing their pick of their favorite all about book.
