PEER TUTOR (23960) 

Peer Tutoring is an opportunity for students to work with Fremont's special needs students. Peer tutors assist special needs students with their homework and/or other educational tasks. Peer tutors cannot have attendance credit loss over .75.

AP CONTRACT (23910) 

This course is a study hall for students who are taking 3 or more AP/Concurrent Enrollment classes. They are allowed to go the library and study rather than attend an elective class. (Counselor approved)

OFFICE/TEACHER AIDES (23810) 

Aide positions are allowed for seniors only. Students cannot have more than .75 attendance credit loss. They will assist teachers and staff in classroom and office activities. Often, there is extra time for the student to work on homework. Aides are used in Office, Copy Center, Attendance, Library, Lunch Room, Counseling Center, Career Center and Teacher classrooms. (Teacher/office approval)

WORK STUDY (23190) 

This course is an opportunity for seniors to earn elective credit from working. Student cannot have more than .75 attendance credit loss and must have a paying job. For every 45 hours of work the student can earn .25 elective credit.

HOPE SQUAD TRAINING PROGRAM (23310)

The Hope Squad class is designed to empower students with the knowledge and skills needed to support and uplift their peers in times of emotional distress. Through a combination of interactive sessions, group discussions, and practical scenarios, students will learn to recognize signs of mental health struggles, provide empathetic listening, and connect their peers with appropriate resources. 

By the end of this course, participants will be equipped to serve as compassionate advocates within their school community, promoting a culture of empathy, understanding, and hope. Hope Squad members play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive environment for all students. 

LATINOS IN ACTION (23200) 

Latinos In Action is a nonprofit organization working to build future Latino leaders by having high school students tutor elementary school students.  (Teacher approved)
