You will also learn different knife cuts and practice them in recipes. Lots of fun lab experiences as you continue learning about the culinary field. Have fun competing in Plating and Iron Chef contests.

This course examines the role of family, social and emotional influences on financial behaviors; additionally we will look at the financial implications associated with addictions, abuse, dating, marriage, parenting, divorce and death. Guest speakers and career exploration in financial behavioral health and counseling with be incorporated as well.

This is the basic course from the National Restaurant Association that introduces you into the world of professional cooking. We will be working on communication skills, safety and sanitation, food preparation, meal planning, catering and other topics throughout this course.
