The written exams in EDUC 108 covered various topics, including the topics in Unit 4 to Unit 7 of the course. The exams consisted of multiple-choice questions with situations.
Before answering the exams, I always felt a mix of anxiety and anticipation for the possible questions that would come out. I was nervous about whether I had studied enough and if I would remember all the necessary details to get a passing score. During the exam, I felt focused but also stressed when I encountered difficult questions, especially questions that involved remembering or memorization. After completing the exam, I felt relieved but also uncertain about how well I had performed. The overall aspects of the exam went well. For instance, I was able to answer most of the multiple-choice questions with questions that involved application or a situation confidently. However, the questions with basic terminologies always caught my feet, and I realized that I really struggled to remember terms and their on-point definitions. Upon reflection, I understood that my poor memory might have a negative affect on my performance. I have reviewed well and tried my best to come up with a solution to remember the terms such as using quiz makers. Lucky enough, there were a few questions that assessed my memory in the examination.
In conclusion, I could have approached my exam preparation with little more concentration on problems that may require me to memorize. However, I will also project the same effort to questions that needed analyzation of situations to balance both assessments. Thus, for future exams, I will implement a more structured review plan where it does not only focus on my mind to memorize but also my ability to think thoroughly of things.
