Silencio Bruno! Can You Hear It?

As the outro instrumental of Chiquitita plays on in your mind from the numerous TikTok videos that have been associated with this line, the wanting of a summer spent on the coasts of Italy in a small town seems like an almost perfect lifestyle. To kick off the start of break, Disney Pixar released an animation early June making a great debut around the world capturing the beauty and Italian seaside life of Cinque Terre, Italy or better known as the fictional town, Portorosso in the animation film. During the adventure of two young sea monsters, Alberto Scrofano voiced by Jack Dylan Grazer and Luca Paguro voiced by Jacob Tremblay, go on a rollercoaster of journeys in order to check off their goal list of getting a bright red Vespa to travel around the world together to escape their restricted uneventful lives. Throughout their wandering, they encounter multiple problems- from Luca being terrified in seeing the human world to Alberto having to train to eat a big bowl of pasta in the yearly summer race, the Portorosso cup, with their new friend Giulia Marcovaldo.

However with all the excitement and new experiences that both characters face, conflicts of emotions arise separating the duo, leaving the dream of the Vespa long in the past. Nevertheless they find their ways back to each other leaving a heartfelt and warm sensation after watching the closing scene. And the lesson that no matter how much you've changed, there's always one person who will still love you the same for who you truly are.
