Winter's Embrace

Matthew Nagel

In the hush of winter’s grace

A lonely tree of frosted lace

Cloaked in layers of pristine white

Each branch a snowy delight

Silent whispers in frosty air

As snowflakes dance with gentle flair

A blank canvas for nature’s art

Space to shine in winter’s heart

Amid the silence of winter’s tune

Branches wear a white festoon

A still ballet in fresh brisk air

Nature’s art on branches fair

Branches reach to heavens high

A snowy symphony beneath the sky

Nature’s brush, a touch divine

In winter’s embrace, a tree does shine
