Ed Sheeran Club! Pioneer High School’s NEWEST club and one of the most HOT TOPICS at PHS! Many people have been wanting to know more about it and how to join. So, we decided to talk with the President and Vice President of the club, Sam Arfan and Tori Mora, to find out more about the club and how it came to being. They explained how it all started on a triple date to an Asain restaurant to have dumplings. Sam and Tori wanted to be presidents of a club, and since Tori had recently dyed her hair ginger, and Sam’s girlfriend was ginger, Ed Sheeran Club seemed like a perfect fit! All they had to do now was find an advisor, and luckily Ms. Swanson came to their aid. For the meetings, they plan to keep a chill and friendly atmosphere, Tori plans different sets of slides based on Ed Sheeran for each meeting, and uses Kahoots to make the club more interactive. As the club grows, they want to start doing bigger stuff. Sam and Tori plan to eventually have karaoke in the meetings, a pizza party, a bake sale, and some sort of community service. So if you are a ginger or are just looking for a fun way to spend your Wednesday lunch, come to Ms. Swanson’s room and join the club!
