October 27th

**FOR YOUR INFORMATION***

--There has been a CONFIRMED case of VIRAL PNEUMONIA in our class. For more information: https://www.webmd.com/lung/viral-pneumonia-lung-infection

--Please say your goodbyes to your child quickly. Two of my goals for your child is independence and self reliance. Expecting your child to do his/her morning routine (hanging up backpack, taking off jacket, washing hands, choosing a breakfast, and sitting down to eat) without you is helpful in achieving these goals.

READING

We have been doing a lot of reading. We are reading books everyday. We read books by looking at the pictures, by retelling the story and learning from what we see. We began reading nonfiction books. We shared our favorite pages and talked about what we learned from our reading.

We read from our favorites book bin everyday too. We now can read the books all by ourselves. We read the book by retelling the story.
