--We eat snack everyday. Please send a snack for your child each day. They work hard and build up an appetite!

-Please send extra clothing in your child's backpack because accidents happen! Spills, dirt, paint, etc.

-It's getting chilly! Please dress your child in warm outdoor clothing. We go outside everyday except for rain and 10 degrees or below.

MATH

Comparing quantity. Which line of kids is more? Just because a line may be longer, it does not mean it is more. The only way to know for sure is to count. Understanding conservation of number.

CRAFTERNOON

We have added Jan Brett's "The Mitten" to our bin of Favorites. We created our own mittens with crayons and spreading tempera paint over them. After we wrote about our mittens. You can enjoy our mittens and writing in the hallway outside our classroom.

READING

We have begun reading groups. Mrs. Lapointe, our school's reading specialist, helps with groups.

HOUR OF CODE

We got together with Mrs. Wright's 5th grade to do some computer coding. The 5th graders helped us in creating codes for a program to guide an animal through a simple maze.
